OEM Sales Manager (Industrial Equipment)
Job Description
• Manage current customers and win new customers to achieve annual sales targets.
• Close new sales opportunities and travel regularly to identify and close orders.
• Develop, plan, and coordinate the implementation of sales plans that regularly achieve sales goals
and overall market growth.
• Manage OEM pricing structure in accordance with the market strategy.
• Work closely with key customers to understand their current and future needs. Collaborate with
engineering on the development of new products that result from customer and market need.
• Monitor key markets and competitive activity to understand strengths and opportunities.
• Communicate regularly with key customers, providing timely order status and product information.
• Follow up on leads and new customer inquiries.
• Maintain and update OEM customer database information.
• Create sales reports and data, with the ability to present relevant information to company leadership.
• Enter orders, review RFQ’s and prepare product quotations.
Experience Required
• 3+ years in sales for a controls, gauge, or instruments manufacturer or OEM product manufacturer in the HVAC, refrigeration, industrial equipment, commercial equipment or similar market.
• Significant experience selling engineered products to OEM markets.
• Undergraduate degree in Business, Marketing, or another related field a plus.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Solid experience with ERP/MRP software, with Infor Visual experience highly desired.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office suite of programs (Word, Excel, Access).
