Field Service Engineer (Rotating Equipment) Europe

Job Description

• Provides highly technical support to an international client base.
• Field Service Engineer primarily executes customer requests for, commissioning, repair and trouble-shooting of rotating equipment
• Generates long-term corrections
• Provides technical support to various internal teams
• Maintains an at-home office for activities in between service calls
• Performs pre-commissioning and commissioning activities
• Performs highly skilled repair and troubleshooting activities
• Provides on-site training to customers to improve the customers’ ability to effectively operate, troubleshoot, and maintain equipment
• Completes a Field Service report after providing site services

Experience Required

• Pump OR Rotating Equipment Troubleshooting, Installation, Repair
• Reading and interpreting electrical, mechanical and process prints and related technical documentation
• Ability to discuss, diagnose and repair products
• Ability to manage a global maintenance program
• Ability to work at customer sites with little direct supervision
• Preferred understanding of rotating, hydraulic, and electrical systems
• Bachelors Mechanical Engineering
• Technical Education
• SolidWorks
• Word, PC, Microsoft Applications
